Amiga VGA converter

I recently picked up an Amiga 500 (never owning an Amiga before.. ever), and have been tinkering with it ever since. I added an HxC Emulator to it, and have a Harddrive being delivered.

One other thing I wanted was to be able to display output to a VGA monitor.

There is bits and pieces of information around on how to do this (pin outs, forum posts, a few confusing comments), but no specific place that gives you all the info.

if your talking about the gbs8220 it works,just take the signals from the rgb port on the amiga c/sync r,g,b, and ground.and get a 5 volt 2amp supply to feed it.(dont take power from the amigas rgb port)

the adaptor above on that page was for dblpal and dblntsc only.

G'day and welcome to the Amiga scene. If you want a proper VGA display from your A500 in all modes, meaning you can play games and use Workbench, paint programs and interlaced modes without flicker, you should get yourself an Indivision ECS - http://amigakit.leamancomputing.com/...roducts_id=918
