Most likely with a game/demo player machine, you will never need to press that particular button, even if the disk you boot has a CLI menu.

Thank you! Still breaks my hear as to why I was not careful enough to take care of taking out the cap (I used a keycap removal tool, honestly!), when I was trying to wash all the keys.

As you found out, a keycap removal tool is not the best choice for an NMB keyboard, as they will easily hook under the edges of the plunger.

For these keyboards I tend to use a flat jeweler's screwdriver. I use a keycap puller for every other keyboard though. :-)

But it's not like these switches are unobtanium, you can swap out that one switch.
