Like StingRay said : Kuma had the same concept like ASM-One, switching between edit and command mode via ESC. But It had no menus not even an own intuition window since it was running under a AmigaDOS shell. I remember my first adventures with kuma having no clue what to do with the ">" prompt. Those were the days...
It ended with me running into the next Amiga Shop in my hometown buying (my second Original after "Amiga Karate") the infamous KickAss Assembler. |

I gotta say - I don't get the music hate here. It's not instant classic but I dig it - it's mellow and not in your face.
It's way better than what I can do right now. I'm just happy I can issue commands in ASM1 and see the debugger do what I expect. |

@ AB Positive - I got this tune from a cracktro on the front of the game Gods that I've had since I was a kid. I have to say I always used to load up Gods, the cracktro would start and I'd always think "that's a nice little mod tune".
Clearly though, both you and I are in the minority!! |

@ Herpes - module in the Zone now!
@ Shoonay - wait a little longer and you will be the proud owner of the very first Retro Megademo currently being coded by me, Vortex & our newest member Toffee. |

How long do we have to wait for this retro mega demo - are speaking in terms of weeks, months or years?
Anyway I am looking forward to it and wish you a good work |

Well guys, the official ruling is that there is no deadline.
I'd say that realistically we're probably talking a few months at least. Just speaking personally I need to do quite a bit more on the routine I'm currently working on to get that sorted and then after that I probably need to come up with another one, maybe even two, parts that I haven't even started thinking about yet. All that not forgetting that I've got a day job to do as well so I can pay the bills. Then when you add that Vortex and Toffee are also working under the same conditions you can see that it won't be coming out in two more weeks. Thanks for your support and encouragement though guys. Keep the faith - cos it *will* come out. |

Yeah, wut TCD said, don't worry about the deadline, the trick is to don't expect anything - you'll love everything that comes out
