How do you enter Super Gem'Z level codes?
Does anyone have any idea? There doesn't seem to be a "password" option in the menus, and typing it in at the title screen (like in Gem'X) doesn't seem to do anything, either...

I was able to type them at the intro screen and it all worked well.
I typed there and it would take me to the menu screen. From there, click "Start" and you're set. |

Well I'm playing the WHDLoad version and that didn't work. It just seemed to ignore what I typed in, so I'm not sure what's going on (unless I'm mistyping the password of course )

hmmm. Maybe the WHDLoad version is screwed? (it's not a final release after all). Using the ADF in GBAmiga 1.4, it works fine.
Try using the code SAKE on the ADF version. Same problem? If not, then it's the WHDLoad version at fault. |

Okay, this is weird...
The code SAKE does work on the WHDLoad version. But the code for D (YURI I think, I hope I got it right) has no effect at all. Then I tried SAKE again and it crashed out with an access fault. Has anyone got a set of level codes I can try out? EDIT: Don't worry, found them. Will try this out later on. |

Okay, so the code for D doesn't work, but the others I've tried so far (B,E,F) do work, although the game does crash out with an access fault sometimes. Can anyone shed any light on why the code for D doesn't work? Seems a bit odd.

My guess is it may be a screwup on the programmer's part. I did a quick look through memory, and while I'm not sure about it, it looks like a plausible theory. From what I can gather, there may have been an extra character accidently put right after DEMAG or right before YURI. This character is causing YURI to not work.
This is of course, just a theory from a memory scan. It's unlikely (since it's coming from me ), but you never know. Whomever wrote the WHDLoad slave should look into it. They'd know more |

That does sound feasible... not sure who wrote the slave though, but yeah, I suspect they'd know what's happening.
