Rock Challenge (WORKING)
Received an e-mail from a guy just recently, who told me that NONE of his numerous versions of Rock Challenge could be made work on WinUAE.
A bug? Mostly unlikely. I downloaded *all* of the 5 TOSEC ones, transferred them to my Miggy and ... what wuz that on teh screen? Arabic? At least it felt like it when I clicked on one of the question fields. I scanned thru the disks in WB, and found the font on disk, 'small 7', to be working perfectly! However, when I pressed one of the umlaut keys, this "Arabian"-like writing came up. Ahhh...not the font was broken, it was the question file! And all 5 disks would show the same behavior, not even mentioning the extraordinary small size of the disk files (~180 kb). Does anyone have a working copy? (must be non-TOSEC, of course!) (Game is neither CAPSed nor WHDized either yet. Originals welcome, too.) Last edited by andreas; 04 April 2006 at 11:02. |

Yeah, question file (the core and gist of everything) is trashed!
Quiz without question file - that's like salted chips without salt! Well Don, have you ever had a good copy in your hands? |

No, when I ripped music in Beathoven Synthesizer format, I seen that all versions are incomplete (this same source). Perhaps only original version can be good, this game uses ReadySoft longtracks, I think.

Hello,
I got an answer from Beatbxox, the guy who owns Rock challenge can't create an ADF at the moment. I asked him if it was related to him not having an amiga, or the tools. I wait for a reply from him |
