help on how to set workbecnh screen to 16:9
Helo amigans,
cant find a way to set my winuae setup to 16:9 display to to wide tv lg ,anybody can help?a1200 setup with os.3.9 installed. |

Have you installed Picasso96 and copied over the UAEGFX monitor file?

no,can you instruct me on how to do that exactly friend?must i choose picasso96 from the winuae menu or do it manually inside the os 3.9?

thanks a lot it worked flawlessly!!can you also help me when i load the latest winuae os 3.9 to have a shortcut or the program its self on the amiga desktop?i press update window,then update all and save to config of winuae but when i close and reopen winuae desktop os it dissapears!

As far as I understand, what you want to achieve lies in the " .backdrop " file.
As example, here is how to have the shell icon on the Workbench : 1) Open a Shell 2) type " ed :.backdrop " 3) in the " ed " window, type " :system/shell " 4) save & quit 5) reboot 6) you now have your icon on the workbench [ beware ! ] : if you want to remove it later, do not delete the icon with the menu as it will physically delete your original file BUT instead edit again the " .backdrop " file and remove the line. The same effect can be achieved with the " Leave out " (have the icon on WB) & " Put away " (remove icon from WB) menu entries. Read the OS/WB manual, you will learn a lot Edit : Forgot to mention but this works already from WB 2.04 Last edited by malko; 26 April 2024 at 18:19. |
