I wouldn't touch Nintendo Disney stuff with a ten foot pole, but if you must hate yourself then at least stay away from music. Maybe the beast will stay asleep.

Castle of Illusion is still an active IP. Maybe not the best choice for an Amiga game (Disney/Sega graphics sourced). Free or not.

Nice idea for game, but for safety reasons I suggest change msin hero for something less copyright protected.

If not done already, watch the movie "Tetris" : https://www.allocine.fr/film/fichefi...lm=285354.html .
It contains a proof by example on how big companies steal and sell software without permission ![]() |

I'm not going to treat Hollywood movies as documentaries though, they take liberties with the word liberty.

If any legal department comes sniffing around tell them it’s not Mickey Mouse in the game but clearly Vicky Vole.

Were there any legal issues with Amiga versions of games recently? The last I remember is the CD32 Bitmap Brothers compilation, that had to be taken down after Mike Montgomery complained.

Depends what you define as 'recently', but there is this:

ouch. I wonder how it ended. It's probably an attempt for third-party legal assholes to get more money for the franchise.
You probably take less risks if you clone a videogame where there aren't any copyrighted movie/comic characters. I've done that a lot, so far no issues... |

There have been a load of these cases such as the smurf one and there just money making exercises. That's not to say there not real but there scetchy.
Also it's best not to draw attention just best don't bring it up. Cuthbert had a series of games and it was a rip off of other games. I quite like the idea. Cuthbert in the Jungle was pitfall etc. |

The fact that this is for Amiga is a red herring. It's Disney, on top of that it's Mickey Mouse, and it's been mentioned on Youtube. The fuse is lit.
