You're welcome. I played couple of intros for games - no issues yet.

yes, it's a good alternative to WinUAE. i tried few games, but it works with no problem (using Commodore kickstart).

I thought FS-UAE was already good alternative, but this just makes things bit easier.
There are couple of things I would suggest: * Make KS 1.3 default * SPS support * Rewind Button (both cores) * Key combination to switch between full screen/windowed (found it) * Option to take screenshot (with key selection option) Right now I rename kickstart and extroom and place KS1.3 as kicstart. That is already possible, just go on Options/Input-Hotkeys and assign fullscreen to some key. (i did fullscreen to f12 and pause to f11)

I guess the logic is like: choose your system model, choose firmware KS and go to Configuration tab to create a config! (Note: At starting the emu remember the last used config) Last edited by amilo3438; 01 May 2023 at 17:10. |

Thanks, just found it and saw your reply. As for KS, I think current default should be last option that system tries if you don't have KS1.3 or other.
I did not yet make any configs yet. Thanks for suggestions. Just noticed, there is no option to save screenshot. (had to use 3rd party tools to capture screenshot for RGL) Last edited by Anubis; 01 May 2023 at 18:48. |

With today's testing, I finished with the usual tests that I also used for WinUAE!
(there are only a few .exe files left that I could not find on the pack disks) Today's findings: (probably most with the same problem) Humanoids-Compact19.adf ... F2 = some glitch at begining of the monocycle part! (this demo was tested with OCS/1.2/512 config) MagicPack066.adf ... BRB - Misery = glitches on vector part! MagicPack066.adf ... Scoopex - Crack Intro = whole screen glitches! MF-BulliePack0x.adf ... Main menu = whole screen glitches! Edit: Fixed in nightly! Shining-Overdose47.adf ... So Boring - Shining = some glitches on diamond rotating part! (In "The Zone" Denise update 3.7z) Last edited by amilo3438; 12 May 2023 at 21:08. |

Would screen capture be a lot of work to add?

Well, you also can use PrtSc key to grab the screen picture and paste it to some editor.
![]() But one thing I haven't figured out yet, in Edit tab there is copy/paste and for what this can be used? (to copy or paste what?) Yes, compatibility is at a fairly high level already. And what I found during testing seems to be the only remaining few recurring problems. (thanks to the tests I also used for WinUAE) Last edited by amilo3438; 02 May 2023 at 12:26. |

If you emulate interlace not artificially but the way it works on Amiga, it is the best for testing frame pacing, much better than scrolling! Of course it's best when interlace visibility is set to 100%. Audio config hasn't changed anything, but you can ignore my report for now. In WinUAE in windowed DX11 modes I have frame pacing issues too - only exclusive full screen is perfect. On Denise in DX9 VRR doesn't seem to be variable at all, and in OpenGL it's jerky (frame pacing problems twice a second or so). So it's probably my system specific (my money is on WDM woes in multimonitor config when one monitor is non-VRR). Quote:

I've created a bugfix/improvements thread in support.other.

The only difference is that the 2nd image is offset, but with the same line spacing. I guess the Denise chip doesn't even know there's interlace. Denise doesn't care that the 2nd picture is drawn offset. Do you want to tell by the flickering if the frame pacing is correct? This can be done much more effectively with a cleanly scrolling game. With interlacing and frame pacing it's more about how you emulate and display it than how it was on real hardware. I find it much more plausible for frame pacing testing than scrolling.
Denise's VRR in DX9 exclusive fullscreen is as jerky as in window here. |

Great, I made info at the beginning of this thread about it.
In fact, I was wondering if there was some key combination to invoke a hard/soft reset like on WinUAE? But we found a solution for full screen mode: mouse middle button, mouse right button and then a small window appears. |

I just tested C/P and that worked really well. Was able to post listening from magazine without any issue. (tried small code)
Was looking at firmware tab for Amiga core and one thing that comes to my mind, it would be really great if each firmware config had option to select Amiga model and memory for that config, so that you can have A500 and A500+ switch based on kickstart selected. If you want to change memory, you still can do it, but you can setup default for each firmware config. |

So, C/P works with a text. Nice.
Regarding firmware tab, its easy, you select your system on system tab and then choose in firmware tab No. of assigned KS to work with selected system. No need to complicate things more as needed. ![]() Note: With te same system you can use any FW number from firmware tab that has attached something. Last selection stays default at next run. |
