I am confused as it builds and works from the .amos source, but, if I export as ascii and reimport the same unedited ascii file, it has as I explained (some upper case is lower and unexpected spaces)

Could it be one of the extensions causing the issue I am having?

@Karlos

sorry for all the distraction I am causing, maybe I should have started a new thread for LevelED after all (and taken over the forum one thread at a time )

Yes, put it in the Amos development section.

Almost done removing the last deprecated textures from Level O. However, in the process, I wanted to test out @abu_the_monkey's latest LevelEd changes and ended up redesigning the wasp encounter area, which is basically a mini (though pretty huge) arena area.

I plan to add a set of higher vantage points for attacking the wasps and connect them with a teleport loop. However, I am wondering if the teleport areas (especially the second one) provide too much cover.

Thumbs up

Problem solved. I made the space behind that top ledge between the edge and the teleport an acid spillage. So you can't just camp behind the wall indefinitely, you have to go out on the ledge and fight, or have your HP eroded. Literally.

Got your new Highres/Highresc files. How do I run this in RTG? Nice framerate bump though!

Be aware that many things in the rtg version are 'broken' as this is an early release

This includes text output for weapons, ammo and health to name a few.

Yep, edited my post as I think I must have had no weapon to switch to! I thought you always had a knife though?

I would like to know how to exit the game to AmigaOS/Caffeine though!

Currently there is no clean exit from the game back to workbench in the asm or c builds

Thanks for all the efforts made on this game! It is great on Pistorm32/060 hardware! It even works two player - very smooth and stable! More so than I remember AB3D1 was!

Pushed the current work in progress changes to Level O, including the changes to the wasp arena. Bonus marks if you find the hidden area (which is all you will get because I haven't moved any loot to it yet, the level is pretty much at the object count limit).

Screenshot from the reworked area with the two wasps. Because the only thing better than fighting two wasps in a closed area with huge amounts of airspace, is doing the same thing, in near darkness with the floor all broken with pits of exposed magma.

On the plus side, there are now ways to get a height advantage too.

I don't know if this happens with everyone, I am running it on winuae, when I choose Highresc and run through rtg I have a issue with mouse, when it reaches the top/bottom it loops like on the video I annexed. On AGA it works as it should and it's quite fast! I am playing it for the first time, and it is indeed quite nice!
