megachip on 500 rev 8a.1 help me
i have a megachip, is ok on cdtv, but on a500 don't boot, i have change jp2 and remove jp7, but nothing.

The megachip does not work on 8a and 8a.1 boards. Reason is different pinout of the used Agnus 8375 Chip inside these models (it's already an 2 Meg Agnus!).
The megachip is designed for the Rev. 5 and Rev. 6a boards with Agnus 8371 or 8372a. |

Yes, the megachip is not needed for those machines, just plug in an A500+ 1MB board into the trapdoor.
