Any problems using a Mediator board made for 4000 desktop in a 4000T?

Hello all!

I'm about to receive 3 Amiga 4000T machines and I they don't have RTG cards or even a flickerfixer. While I could keep an eye out for a used RTG card I thought it might be better to get the mediator board and have access to a whole new set of PCI cards.

I took a look on AmigaKit's website and they only appear to have the A4000Desktop version of the boards in stock.

Does anyone know if there would be any problems using these in an a4000T machine?

Thanks!

I don't think it would work. The 4000D cards i believe plug into the daughter card slot on the motherboard. The 4000T does not have a daughter card. The 4000T mediator plugs into a zorro slot.

Order directly from Elbox and take advantage of their Radeon card bundle. As noted, the A4000D replaced the Daughter Card, the T version plugs into the last Zorro slot and elevates the PCI cards about 2 cm.
