AmiTCP / ICOMP

Hello,

I was renewing my P96 download, when I noticed that ICOMP also sells AmiTCP versionet to them. It even have a DHCP client by original author.

Very happy and can recommend. It has nice App icon which tells if it is online or offline, or doesn't if you want to configure it that way. I can started automatically and invisible, etc.

Only thing I needed to do outside of gui was adding my PlipBox to interfaces txt file.

Not sure what you mean with that? Roadshow does not have a GUI or App icon which would tell connection status. Nor you can't configure how it is started.

Note that I am in no way affiliated with Olaf or Roadshow! So
if you have issues relating to *this* piece of software please give me a shout!
It is not a actual GUI, it is a small commodity designed as a companion for Roadshow. That is also from it's readme.

I have both and this one is better for my purposes. Just wondering why this has not get more attention. Excellent piece of software.

This is nice. Thanks for update. I've got an old version of AmiTCP which I think was command line.

What's your set up for Amiga? I like that high resolution but I'm assuming not CRT compatible?

Roadie I think creates an environment variable that I show in my workbench bar at the top of the screen to say online if its online.

I've got an X-Surf-500 in my aca500plus, and it comes with this software. It's really plug and play, really very good.

I use roadshow for other machines, don't really notice any performance differences between them
