Possible to port Alien Breed 3D maps to Doom? (I know AB3D has features Doom can't)
Hello once again
Alright this may be a completely inappropriate and rude request but... I am still tinkering with Alien Breed 3D and getting something done in ZDoom. If someone has any idea how to get the Alien Breed 3D maps (at least partially) into Doom, any hints would be greatly appreciated If I would ever create maps for it I would do them from scratch, this would take quite a bit of time however... a lot of time to be more precise -_- And hey, if someone finally found out how to modify the graphics of the original Alien Breed 3D by now - don't hesitate to tell me how it's done Damn, I just like Alien Breed |

Yes it should be easier to port them to a more advanced engine since (based on the website on the very person who ported some of the maps to Quake) there are several complex geometry features that Doom wasn't actually able to do (including the ability to have a "room over a room" and the water and underwater effects of Alien Breed 3D).
