I've seen a couple of homemade laptop conversions of A1200's but I never saw a kit for it. The beachball looks nice though.

Maybe its the perfect gift for Akira
I'm still getting my report ready reference heat shunts
But for a portable set up the increased case size might be benificial to his needs as he shouldn't require a high graphic monitor size What do you recon ? as it already has its LCD screen built in I know its battleship grey but a good metalic trick paint job could make it look impressive Or do we all think this item is about to go for mega bucks and is out of all our collective reaches ? I think those videos were from Amiga Inc. promoting their T-shirts, etc.

Woah, that thing must be huge. Same width as a A1200? Sheesh. Can only just be called a laptop IMHO
