Bad DMS files on 17-bit CD-ROMs

Hi,

I've been going through some DMS files on the 17-bit Software CD-ROMs and found quite a few that don't work.

The reason for at least some of them not working is that whoever created the DMS files should have used the NOZERO option, but didn't.

Does anyone have a list of the broken/bad files? If anyone comes across some actual 17-bit floppy disks it might be a good idea not to throw them away thinking that all the data is on the CD-ROMs! (Not to mention that loads of disks are completely missing from the CDs.)

Bad DMS files on 17-bit CD-ROMs

Hi. I have noticed the same as you have mark k. Bad .DMS files and the missing disk's are for adults and not for children, that's why some numbered disk's are missing on their CD's.

just some links. not sure where you were looking:
vol 1-4

vol 5-6
http://ftp.back2roots.org/back2roots/cds/17bit/

maybe you find missing files there?

Those are the CDs that the previous posters are talking about. What makes it even more annoying is that TOSEC lists the 17bit discs by name not by disc number so matching up the missing ones is a royal pain in the ass.
