That almost gave me goosebumps. It looks and sounds amazing and, like you say, I could imagine it looking and sounding that way on an actual Amiga. The finished game is going to long amazingly professional and I'm very excited to see it when it's finally released. Clearly going to be worth the wait!

Well if you're looking for some more Amiga news on this upcoming game, then we have just been contacted by Saberman via Facebook, that he has told us that the in-development project by KK/Altair has been teased with a brand new look at the overhauled map remake by none other than Tsak!

Ooops! This ain't my "big map" remake but the previous "eye" monster map. KK uploaded the wrong file initially but he corrected this now.

That's really amazing and I have to keep reminding myself this is running on the A500.
I especially like the part at 3:11 where you go outside and there is that pseudo round building. A question though, if the game is to support stairs etc. (I've seen the video showing them working) isn't building all these flat levels going to be a waste in the long run? Or is the stairs version more for the A1200 era? |

It's already such a professional-looking product! As others have said could you imagine if this had come out in the days before AGA Amigas and having this on your A500 to show off to non-Amiga users at that time. Could you imagine the reviews in magazines??!?!?

However, the video is advertising an Amiga 500 game but runs on a faster computer. Is that really necessary? It always causes confusion on what you can expect from a real Amiga 500 since the game is particularily developed for it. |

Imho depends on the source. Some preffer to play and showcase the game under the best config possible (in this case a1200+fast maxes out performance). Others preffer minimum configs to show how the game performs on them and emphasize the achievement. I've seen both approaches (as is the usual with fps games on retro systems) and both are fine as they cater to different audiences/needs.
