Question Dealing with malware

Hi there guys.

I was hoping that you could answer a couple of (possibly daft) questions for me please.

I'm currently running a mix of Linux (Ubuntu 18.04 LTS) and Windows,
as my main host OS.
I'm also getting into a lot of retro computing and emulation ATM.

As a result, I've downloaded a lot of older software that I'd like to run in emulation.

Questions:
Are you aware of any Anti-virus / anti-malware programmes for other OS's
that also scan and deal with malware for Amiga and other retro systems ?
(E.G. - Do apps like: Eset / AVG / Nod / MBAM / etc, etc) also scan for malware
from other OS's ?

1. Other OS's / platforms ? (E.G. Mac / or Older versions of Windows / DOS ?)

2. From Amiga OS (M68k) software

3. From Linux malware ?

4. From MAME or other ROM types

TIA for any help and advice.

what do you mean? programs like old windows stuff? cracked versions?

EDIT: if you downloaded your stuff from trusted sites, it´s clean... no antivirus needed
if you use eset, and your hd is readable under windows with eset, eset will scan that driver too...

Your forum pseudonym is most appropriate.
