Zoom

Or rather unzoom. Some of the scans are too big to fit on my screen at full res. Any chance of a 1/2x zoom option in the top corner, similar to HOL and their screenshots / scans?

Not sure about that one - we settled on 100dpi as the standard for our scans as it gave the best overall balance between readibility across all the mags and not using too much disk space and bandwidth.

Smaller than that is too small for some magazines. Codetapper might be able to adapt the code, but it may not be too legible when resized. Does your browser have a zoom function? (eg. Opera and IE7 both have zoom)

Alex: Can you give an example or two of any scans that are too big? Currently there is a 1x/2x zoom button but only for smaller pics that are <= 320 pixels wide, so you can double those disk menu type scans and screenshots. I could possibly add a 50% option too if they are too big.

BTW what screen resolution are you using?

to me, with 1152 * 864, the screens are not very clear to read, but once saved on local pc and open with an image viewer, they are perfectly readable: it's not a original resolution problem , but of scaling of the viewing windows, i think.

btw: saving the pages i've noticed that they are not labeled with the magazin specs, but only with the page number; i know that the site is not made to be saved on local but if there ever would be a off line version, however, it would be a nice touch.
