I remember some interview where he was proud of his self made arexx script that downloaded patches to his synths over midi. :-)

I have Captain's old A3000 as my main Amiga. A friend of mine was working at Man&Man when Captain traded the 3000 in for a new 4000. That friend then bought the 3000 for himself, eventually the machine ended up in my use.

I'm sure I read in a Danish Amiga Magazine that the German eurodance band Snap made their music on the Amiga. According to WIKI Snap was a successor to 16 Bit already mentioned.

Maybe he had some simple music software and no time to enjoy Amiga.

My band Organ Grinder from 2012 used an A1200 and MusicLine Editor for it's rhythm section.

Our only release, a seven track EP has recently been uploaded to Aminet.

I guess that makes the Amiga kind of the Tr-909 of Jungle....

For music, compared to what was available at the moment, it was. That is, for the people like him who could AFFORD something like a super expensive E-Mu sampler or a bunch of synths.

For the plebs like us, Amiga was revolutionary in bringing the chance of building an all-in-one home studio system at an affordable price.

I remember reading in a ZERO mag that Tim Simenon (Bomb the Bass) and S-Express used Commodore machine's for music. As ZERO was a 16-bit magazine, must have been the Amiga

He even named some of his tracks something with "Amiga" like this one:
