ntsc at 50hz?
i'm probably missing something obvious, i'm trying to run some games that are only 200 pixels high, and using the autoscale feature which is working well, except i have to have it in NTSC mode to avoid the black borders top and bottom.
i've found the option to change the FPS back down to 50, but this seems to make the sound a but crappy. is there a 'correct' way of forcing ntsc screen modes while still actually in PAL? |

What?
Autoscale does not leave any borders (unless program decides to open PAL 256 display screen but only uses first 200 pixels) I guess you must have aspect ratio correction enabled. (EDIT: you can't have NTSC without 60Hz, at least without some KS/software hacking) Last edited by Toni Wilen; 27 April 2010 at 19:58. |

its true i had keep aspect ratio set to VGA and the screen size or whatever the unlabelled option is above it set to disabled.
i get how it works now, sorry about that, i do have a suggestion though, on the filter gui page, please label that option so we can see what it is, and also there is an option under the scaler which on my pc only has 'none' as an option, i have no idea what that is since its not labelled either |
