Speris Legacy Multi language ???

as Galahad is one of the coders of that game it might be helpful to reassemble this game in other languages...

Personally I don't think the game is well liked enough (certainly the sales said it wasn't popular!) to warrant the effort.

I was thinking the same (wasn't worth the effort).

I really enjoyed the game until I got stuck, this was years back though and I haven't played since. You never really get much talk of it on EAB, the effort involved wouldn't (at a guess) be worth it.

I liked it, but I was a Zelda-esque Action-RPG addict at the time. However with english being my native language I am not interested in another port.

I like it . Is it possible to finish it, has it been playtested to the end? I remember getting stuck somewhere too, never finding out what to do next...

Yes it is, Hellfire did a complete walkthrough when I 'suggested' they hadn't cracked it properly.

What's so exotic about Imploder? Load the file into your favourite hex editor/assembler and you'll see the well known "IMP!" id right at the beginning.

Thats the thing see, as I can't remember if the final assemble of Speris actually used Fimp or whether or not something else was used and we simply changed the headers.

I can't remember now

I didn't check all files, well, only one to be honest but it could be decrunched without any problems using normal imploder decruncher.

Yeah i remember being pretty dissapointed in Speris Legacy. I was a huge fan of the GB and SNES Zelda games and this looked simular. Comparing the games.. Speris Legacy just looked and played so amature compared with the Zelda games.

I thought Speris Legacy was a great addition to the Amiga's games library and it finally gave Miggy users a decent Zelda clone which the machine was so badly crying out for but never got. It was a lot better than Legends (The in-between bits on Mr Nutz were more entertaining) But sadly i never got to finish it, As with all games i don't cheat or use walkthru's. If i get stuck i just throw in the towel and move onto the next game (Currently trying to finish Wonder Boy VI:Moster Land IV on the PSP Genesis emulator, If it ever gets a playable A1200 emulator Speris is one i'd like to have another crack at)

I just felt a bit dissapointed in it, especilly as I had been awaiting it for several months and when i bought it, i just didnt "get" it.

It definatly was better than Legends.

MR Nutz was pretty good on the amiga, i beat that one =)
