Blizzard 1230 Ram upgrade.
Hi All,
I want to upgrade the RAM on my Blizzard Accelerator 1230 IV but just want to make sure its compatible first. From what I have read you need EDO 72pin 5v 60ns ram right? Depends of the Blizzard version. The original accepts 64 MB; v.III 32 MB and v.IV 128 MB afair.

As it's advertized as 4k, it's going to show just 64 MB on a Blizzard.

Blizzard cards can't handle 4k refresh rate RAM (which consumes less power) as intended and tend to show just half of the memory. I did once buy a couple of them but managed to sell them to a PC user. Often it's difficult to recognize the refresh rate of the SIMM, googling might help.
