FS: BPPC aka Blizzard 1260 68060@50 Mhz + 128MB Ram

Well...if you get an offer from someone, named "Elbox Tower with Blizzard PPC and 128MB Ram"...would you expect to receive an Elbox Tower with Blizzard PPC and 128MB Ram? You would? ...good. Then I'm not alone in trusting people who sell their stuff, and then getting something completely different as described

As I tried weeks now to get in contact with this guy (without any success) I'm selling the Blizzard 1260 (yes, sold to me as a BPPC), which was built in this Tower. At least the board is in perfect shape and working order with 128MB Ram (ultraslim double sided) and original manual.

Due to the very rare and expensive Rambar I'm asking for 350 € (I better don't tell you how much I've paid for the tower expecting it's a BPP inside ), shipment to EU included. Shipment to worldwide +4 €

PayPal accepted (gift)

P.S.: Sorry for the Emoticon Attack, but I'm really p****d!

hmm, sorry to hear of this. It really is a low trick to pull....

BUT did you not ask for photos?

Anyway, to protect the innocent; name and shame the seller....!

And what about some pictures now? Especially the Blizzard1260-card?

Ehm...it's the 1260 only of course. If you don't want to have the 128MB the price can be dropped to 315 €.

Pic is attached. The bar doesn't touch the CPU btw...

@DDNI: I saw a pic of the tower only. I bought some other stuff from this guy in the past, so I trusted him. I'm trusting too quick as it seems

Hi mr.niceguy,

sorry to hear this...
If you paid with PayPal you can surely ask for PayPal protection and open a dispute, because you didn't receive what was described in the auction.

Did you buy it on eBay + PayPal ?
If not, tell the seller that you will NAME him here if he doesn't solve your problem.

Paypal are useless when the item has already been delivered. They just draw things out with their inept automated system expecting for you to work it out between one another... then case closed and you find out there's fack all they'll do as the item has been 'delivered'. It's happened to me before but thankfully I only lost 4 euros.

I'd just do a charge back with your bank/credit card and list it as fraud (because that's what it amounts to)... you'll get your money back soon enough.

Thanks for all these kind words. Fortunately someone bought this item now , so I didn't lost the complete money.

As the subject is sold, this thread is done.

A small advice to anyone: ALWAYS check more than 100% what you're buying from someone to avoid such nightmares...otherwise I think that not many guys are so stupid like me in trusting so much, especially in such an expensive deal.

Anyway...we're living for learning (at least me)

Yours

This episode reminds me of one of my favourite quotes:

"Experience is seldom worth what it costs, but I can't seem to get it for any less."

@mr.niceguy:
I can understand that you were disappointed that the accelerator card was not a BlizzardPPC, but the 1260 is also a very nice card, and I'm not surprised you have sold it quickly.
