New to module ripping...
I'm trying to rip some game music using the Pro Wizard module ripper in WinUAE, but I'm not having much luck.
I'm aware that it saves compressed files, it's apparantly using "megacruncher" to compress them. The only software I've found that could uncompress them is "mega_cruncher1.2.exe.a", which I have no idea how to run. I would assume that you would execute it from an Amiga environment, but I only got a software failure when I tried. Any info that could be provided, or a way to save uncompressed files with Pro Wizard would be appreciated. |

I think you're a little confused - Pro Wizard will find music modules in memory, and it will not find any music that is compressed/encrypted. If it detects crunched files in memory (the file could be anything though, not necessarily music) you can probably depack them with the XFD or XPK utilities. Search XFDMaster on Aminet to decrunch almost any file.
