ScummVM 0.9.1 68k
"Uwe Ryssel has ported the latest version of ScummVM for 68k Amigas. It is a collection of interpreters, capable of emulating several adventure game engines like Monkey Island and others.
ScummVM mainly supports games created using SCUMM (Script Creation Utility for Maniac Mansion), used in various LucasArts games such as Monkey Island and numerous Humongous Entertainment games. ScummVM also contains interpreters for several non-SCUMM games. Currently these are Beneath a Steel Sky, Broken Sword 1 and 2, Flight of the Amazon Queen, Gobliiins, Inherit the Earth: Quest for the Orb, Simon the Sorcerer 1 and 2, The Feeble Files and The Legend of Kyrandia." Download it here Source: Amiga.org |

Every time there is a SCUMM release it makes me SAD that the author of the fastest version, WarpSCUMM, never released the source for his superfast WarpSDL which gave it the speed

And Uwe Ryssel's Cyberstorm PPC board is dead so we're not getting any new WarpOS version (yet) but I've been told someone is going to compile one |

Hihi
Would this be horribly slow on a stock A1200? I run scummvm on my pocketpc but if I rememeber rightly, scummvm bypasses the protection in the games and the one in simon the sorcerer is getting very tiresome -.- |

games like monkeyisland or indianajones should run fine. but WITHOUT music. the midiemulation needs a lot of processing power... games like DoTT or SamandMax will be a little bit slower i think.

I`d like to see a new version of WarpSCUMM. Hopefully the new version is compiled for WarpOS.

What would be cool is if, like Beneath a Steel Sky, all the LucasArts games were freely downloadable as well, especially the Monkey Island ones!
