Does any1 know where I can find (any version) of Lambda?
It's a never finished spaceopera game.

Since it was never finished, you won't be finding this anywhere

I remember playing the demo when it was first released, and on my 030 Amiga, it was spectacular. I definately recommend this game (preview)

I did a quick google search and found http://www.illuvatar.demon.co.uk/lam...da_0.8.101.lha . I don't know if that's the demo, but it might be

In fact I'm just looking for any unreleased/rare previews/demos. Coz on the homepahe you can only download version 0.8.101 but the last version avaible for AGA/68k is actually version 0.27.x. Two more recent versions (OpenGL and Voodoo) also exists...

Did someone noticed, the musician of Lambda actually say on his homepage that the project is not dead yet, just paused. The last update of the coder's page was done on 16 April 2001. Maybe they are still workin on the PC/PPC version. I have no clue...

that link still works. The demo 0.8.101 is texture mapped and light sourced. An earlier version is also available where you can track and shoot enemy ships. Shame that this game never materialised....

Definitely, with the possible exception of Freespace (which as a conversion possibly doesn't qualify) this was the high tide mark of Amiga graphics in a space game, and arguably elsewhere as well. It deserves to be preserved.
