PCMCIA network card not working?
I have a 3Com 3CCE589EC 10Mbps LAN card that i thought would work OK for me. But as i launch Genesis wizard to configure things, i select the 3c589.device unit 0. It tries to open it and fails with a "Unable to open device DEVS:networks/3c589.device unit 0" and thats it. Can't connect to the 'net.
I have both CardPatch & CardReset in my startup-sequence so that's been taken care of...where i'm doing wrong? The 3c589.device manual states my card is compatible with the driver. Forget this, it appears to be a broken PCMCIA 90 degree stick.... Last edited by Bamiga2002; 12 May 2005 at 18:33. |
