It has the usual small loader in Amiga format present in track 39.x-41.x Those type of game are seen as not duplicated.... And the Mastering done by Steve Bak were "disgusting"..... You will find a test IPF in the zone..... Last edited by dlfrsilver; 08 September 2023 at 15:31. |

Hi,
I just finish to post in the zone a zip files wih SPS 1138 In80DaysAroundTheWorld IPF + HFV3 Files. After files conversion in HFEv3 files when I start to game it seems to works but after the 3rd screen the game stop to load on track 79 ... I think there is a protection on that track. I use a standard A500 rev.6A (512+512) KS 1.3 and Goteck HXC. The IPF Files works correctly under WinUAE and I can play with the game. Could You help me ? Many Thanks, Pascal |

Official IPF SPS 1138 shows protection on 79.0, 79.1 and 80.1, 80.0 is unformatted!

Someone mentioned the same issue with Mission Elevator, which has a similar protection to In 80 Days Around the World. They were able to able to create a working HXC image by creating a new ipf with disk-analyse from the SPS one and then converting it to an HXC image. The protection implementation in disk-analyse for this protection is a little more forgiving than the original.
Might be worth a try. |

It was me about Mission Elevator problems. You had recreated an unofficial ipf and I had converted it to hfev3 without problem. Maybe you could do the same here. thanks in advance. Pascal |

I used the 1138 sps from your zone upload. I have since found GW convert is trimming track 80.1 off so I guess it won't work like it is. disk-analyse isn't letting me create a hfev3 file with file.hfe::version=3 so idk?

Uploaded successful GW convert with 80.1 included after Keir pointed out not to specify Format type. In the Zone to Test.

Tonight, I tested again Your 2 Last HFEV3 posted (10h56 & 11h38) in the Zone. Finally I can Tell You that all HFEV3 from Disk Analyse works correctly on my Gotek(s). I Have 4 differents A500 Rev6.A (512k+512K) and 5 differents Gotek HXC all with the same FW HXC v5.2.1.2a (Internal or Extrenal with DF0/DF1 Selector). Your Files were tested on my differents A500 & Gotek. I found that some gotek can play correctly Your files and others none... But After more investigation I found the problem was with some USB Stick 16 GB & 32 GB. The problem was probably with some USB formated... and not necessary With the Bigest 32 GB USB Stick. In conclusion, Both Files created with the disk analyser works correctly in HFEv3 Format. Many Thanks for Your Help. Best Regards, Pascal Last edited by PascalDe73; 11 September 2023 at 21:35. |
