Problem with K240
I've just tried to play on K240 on my setup. I've started using WinUAE 0.8.22, but using this to run K240 just leads to it crashing when I try to start a new game. My friend has it on WinUAE 0.8.21 R4, where it works fine.
Is something happening that I can fix? For instance, is it linked to the Detect Idle CPU option? As that always seems to be selected no matter whether I turn it off before starting WinUAE or not. |

Okay. After some fiddling and tweaking of settings, I found that it was indeed the "Detect Idle CPU" option at fault. Without it checked, the game works okay. Not sure if it's a bug, or if my PC is just not quite up to it.
P.S: Is there any way to force WinUAE 0.8.22 to not have said option checked, as it doesn't seem to save that in the Configuration file? Or is it because it's still experimental? |
