MERCS vs RAMBO III - Which is Best? (Megadrive)

Hi everyone and welcome to the June 2018 edition of the "Which Is Best?" series. Last month I placed two Amiga platform classics against each other, Fire and Ice and Superfrog asking you which in your minds was the better game and after counting all the votes I can now reveal that Fire and Ice is the winner gaining 68 votes with Superfrog receiving 60 votes. 128 votes in total across the forums for this edition making it one of the most highly voted out of this "VS" series, huge amount of votes so thank you everyone!

This month I'm going to place two run-shooter Megadrive action games against each other,...Mercs and Rambo III, both are 1-player games (multi player option taken out of Mercs on this system), which game do you think is better?!,...only your votes will determine that :-D

NOTE: These are the Megadrive/Genesis versions, NOT the arcade so please bare that in mind before you vote and view the video to give you a better idea, Rambo III footage starts at 8:48!

Both are good. MERCS got a really playable arcade port with slightly enhanced game play. But it still prefer Rambo III. An early but decent soldier game with some tactical aspects. Completable without cheats.

I like both games and I couldn't tell which is best. Well... I like a bit more the Rambo one but maybe it's because of the movie.

Mercs hands down. It really showcased what the Genesis could do.
