Activation of ads on HOL for guest only
Dear members,
With the upcoming HOL move to the new server, I will activate some google advertisement in HOL for guest only. (like EAB) It means that EAB's members won't see the ads  And if ads are active, I will remind you to login at EAB to remove them. Why this change ? I need some money to buy a new Xenforo licence to replace EAB, and I want to be able to switch on a more expensive server (maybe cloud) when the new one will not be powerfull enough to host everything. So it will show me ads in anonymous browsing, typically when I come from browser HOL search module. Okay, if it is needed, I have no problem with it.

It you already have one EAB's logged cookie on your computer, you won't have any ads

Suggestion: Ads for ALL members with under 50 or 100 posts... Means at least those A-holes who register to spam forums will be generating some income for EAB and even if genuine users its not unreasonable to place ads on your forum

I do not like adds, but I understood Your needs.
If it brings EAB some money I am ok with that. |
