Social Group icon not working?

I made a social group for Leaderboard. The group icon displays fine inside the group but it doesn't appear on the group list or on people's profile pages. Can't see why. Tried png and jpg.

Maybe something broke?

Yeap. There is no way to upload icons. I get the following message when I am trying to add an icon from a URL

Upload failed due to failure writing temporary file.

Uploading also doesn't work.
