Body Blows Ocs/ecs 3-disk Version?
I wondered this for the first time several years ago so no I ask it:
In HOL Body Blows (ocs/ecs) is mentioned as a 3-disk game but in TOSEC there's only 4-disk versions of the same game. So where's the 3-disk version?? Oh, and the FLT crack is wrongly named: its an AGA version of the game.. I have also a Finnish gaming magazine from the year 1993 and it's also reviewed 3-disk version of the game! The 4-disk version have awfull lot of disk swapping so I'm very interested if someone have this 3-disk version. It even may have 1/4=25% less disk swapping!! |

Most likely this game was on 4 disks after it was cracked due to the amount the amount of data on the original custom disk format. (One of the big boys feel free to correct me here)
To play a 3 disk version you'll need to get the SPS images to use on an emulator or buy an original. |

OF COURSE! This is the most reasonable solution. Same thing with the Beast II: add-on trainer is included and the game is divided on three disks instead of 2.

One thing still wonders me:
All those four disk are full of data. So full that even programs like Winzip can pack them only about few percents. I mean if the crackers would had to split this game into four disks the extra disk would normally be remrkably smaller. Only the files that wouldn't fit the cracked disks would be in the extra disk. But now this extra disk is also full of data. Well, maybe I just don't know enough things how people crack games.. |

Oh never mind! The fourth disk seems to be remarkably smaller!

you can write back the original by using a sync of $1448 if i'm not wrong.
WWARP can write back images of the original in mfm on a standard amiga drive. |

Whilst searching some cracktro archives I came across 1 cracktro from some German group (I think!). Anyway the cracktro was for BodyBlows 3-Disk version.
I remember the cracker explaining how he packed everything with some sort of library packer(???). I never had the game tho just the cracktro from that release. |
