Description:
I first saw this promo video at the “World of Commodore and Amiga Show” at Darling Harbour in Sydney, back in 1988.
The film is hosted by John Laws (an Australian radio personality) as this film is the Australian release.

This film is so hard to find that I felt compelled to post it on the Net so that I could preserve a piece of history.

It was on AvaxHome before they went down, it unpacked to about 110MB. Quality is OK, but it was probably a straight rip from VHS.

edit: its 200MB, quality is OK but John Laws is still a fool.

A big thank you to 5h00n4y for the invite to UG. I was able to grab the Amiga movie and thanks to the free-leech policy on some stuff that is being deleted I was able to grab a few video game related documentaries for my collection. Now I have to figure out what I have that I can share with other UG members.

Thumbs up Only Amiga!

OMG, Someone needs to track this down and archive it in hiDef.

When I watched this on YouTube it brought a tear to my eye's.

Amiga was truly the Hey Day of computing and such a wonderful prosperous time.

It's so many many years ago now since I worked for CBM, but watching that video really brought back memories.

I don't think I have a copy of it here unfortunately. But hopefully someone does somewhere.

If anyone does find it, please make it available.

I'd be very pleased to play it on my ATV Repeater on a regular basis!.

Right, how do you actually download this from that sharethefiles site?

If someone has a torrent file which I can use I'll upload it to my webspace

FTP would be better for me. Most Australian ISP's shape torrents now so they are too slow to use.

Also anyone know whats going on with us.amigakit.com ? It hasn't worked in days. URL too long and other such strange errors.
