Gfx shifted to the left problem
Hi,
I'm having a problem with WinUAE (it appears in all recent versions I tried...): the screen is shifed to the left so I'm loosing about 10-20 pixels which are outside and not displayed... The strange thing is that it doesn't to happen everytime: 1.3 DOS windows are usually centered correctly and I don't loose any pixel... But when I launch a non-dos game, the display is shifted to the left... I'm using Winuae on winXP with a Radeon 7500. I tried to change the drivers but this has no effect on this problem... (I'm using SDL 1.2.4.0) Has anyone reproduced this problem ? Is it a knwown problem ? |

I've had the same problem and it's not because of the screen wasn't centered...

=> When I don't tick those, it's worse: even 1.3 DOS windows become shifted to the left... |

They were not supposed to center a screen on resolutions larger than Amiga res. Perhaps they need updating? |

As for screen centering all i know is this i usually set the horizontal centering on and leave the vertical off this works fine for me but the only prob i have is black patch on th right off the screen its like the screens dont over lap properly this is not a prob in games with black screens but using stuff like AMos is can be notice as the editor screen dont fully overlap the orange user screen behind it. this probley a known issue I don't know, I Have had this problem with past winuae versions as far back as i can rember. does anny one else have this prob i have posted a picture below

I remember this problem being discussed before. I think centring is only designed for 640x480 correct aspect.
Or you could use OpenGL option. |
