Coverdisk Exchange?
Just wanted to put a feeler out there to see if there's any interest.
I just spent over 3 hours sorting all my coverdisks (almost 1000 disks!) from numerous "lucky dip" purchases of boxes of disks, and realised I've got quite a lot of duplicates of Amiga Format and CU Amiga. I also have some unwanted Amiga Shopper, 100% Amiga, and Amiga Action Disks that I have no intention of collecting. Would anyone be up for some "swapsies" ? if so I can make a list of what i've got more than one of, and what i need I feel an old school playground football card swapsies conversation coming on: "got, got, got, got, NEED, got, got...." |

Yes, I have some spare coverdisks. It will take me a while to sort out exactly what they are, but I will do that if you post a list of what you want and have available to swap.
BTW, I've moved this thread to the Swapshop subforum. |

You could also check what you have against the coverdisks on AMR, like the Amiga Format Coverdisks, to see if you have what is either completely missing or just requiring the actual scan of the coverdisk.

My AF collection at a rough guess is 90% complete (only missing the earliest ones and the odd one elsewhere through the years) so i'm sure I can help in some fashion with scans... just need to dig out my scanner which could quite possibly be more of a task than cataloguing my collection of disks
CU collection is probably only 60 or 70% there i'd say so doubt i'd be much help. EDIT - oh i can DEFINITELY help out with your AF subscriber disks... I'm only missing two Last edited by diablothe2nd; 01 May 2013 at 21:46. |

Ok, I've attached an Excel document that I'm currently working my way through. All the disks I've got are shown, and how many I have. The bit taking a little time though is the condition descriptions. Obviously I will be keeping the best ones for myself but at least it gives you an idea of the condition of the ones you might want
And here's a shortlist if you dont wanna go through my XLS file. this is just for AMIGA FORMAT!!! (i'm still working through my CU Amiga disks) Code:

Put it inside [code] tags. Then it's at least fixed size and scrollable so it doesn't bloat the whole post

Yes, they are updated every minute, but you can also force update them, so it'll reflect any changes you have made.
btw, I could have saved you an aweful lot of trouble writing all that out, I have a spreadsheet with everything written on it, but for now, this convo is hijacking the thread, which is not what I want to do |
