How to use the new command line ADF tool in 3.2
Can somone post the help file for the CLI ADF tool in 3.2. My help is not working and I have no clue how to use it. It is very frustrating, the documents online point you to the help! I am trying to keep the system free of things I dont need.
I just need to write an ADF to a floppy on DF0 Thanks! |

I just double click an ADF in 3.2 and it mounts. I'd assume you can then use a boggo disk copy to make a real floppy?
That said, I keep ADFer around too as it's tiny and frankly just easier: http://aminet.net/package/disk/misc/ADFer |

Vangelo, if your Help does not work it may be that you have not installed all the files in the local folder, see screenshot, or you have modified something the Help icon, see screenshot.
To write an ADF to Floppy and easier and more convenient to use the excellent ADFer software, you can find it on aminet: http://aminet.net/package/disk/misc/ADFer Last edited by AMIGASYSTEM; 18 April 2023 at 22:20. |

When I run c:iconx from the cli - it does nothing. I noted there was a help drawr in the sys:, so I took it and threw it in. I belive all the help files went where they needed to go , but no go. OR... perhaps I just messed it all up! |

Verify that in the "System" folder, in addition to the Help icon, there is also the text file named "Help"
Verify that the Workbench.guide file is locally, in the language you are using. Anyway, the "Workbench.guide" file you can run separately by loading it with Multiview ! |

If help isn't working I have a memory of this being related to locale settings being wrong. From the FAQ:

Thank you all! My help is now fixed! I reinstalled locale from the install floppies and that took care of it.
