Connecting to Wifi.

I recently downloaded the list of compatible WiFi PCMCIA cards, and managed to get a Compaq WL110 which was in the list.

Now what do I do to get online? Obviously all the drivers on the Compaq / HP site are Mac/PC, Is there some generic Amiga WiFi software to get it to connect? I guess I will need an Amiga web browser too, what are my options here?

What compatibility list did you use? I normally refer to this one:

http://www.g-mb.de/pcmcia_e.html

Which doesn't list a Compaq WL110.

Basically you need to find a wireless card that has a prism2 chipset.

The one I asked about on here. It was the initial reason I joined this forum.

You will need a TCP/IP stack. The main options are:

- RoadShow. Commercial, supported.
- AmiTCP. Older versions were free. Tricky to setup.
- Miami. Commercial. Abandoned?

See if that helps.
