Care Elite Advanced how to use Careunpatch in Xp - have read FAQ

Hi Amigear!

I used to play elite (1) on my amiga 500. Noadays I´m using Winuea in Win xp.

How do I set up the Elite Advanced in Win xp?

I have all the files describged on the webpage.

What files do I get after sucessfully unpatched the cpt ipf, whatever file ?

Sorry I just don´t understand from the FAQ how to do this. I have Winuea, elite 2.0 adf-file, bat-file.

The bat-file (rather the careunpatch) doens´t run in dos-mode (dosbox). I have dosbox ver. 0,72.

Please help, I don´t get any zip/adf-file

. I´m stuck with the good old elite 2.0 for a while

Well, normally you need the original game. Or at least the SPS image of the original disk. I tried again to unpatch the file on my own and had no problems...

Anyway, have a look at the zone... Maybe there's something for you...

...Elite, you should try Oolite. You can find it via google.

This is A nice Elite Clone, I'm playing the game now and it's perfect.

I confirm, Oolite is the best remake of Elite.
