Missing Games from Impressions etc...
Sometimes HOL will be a mistery to me.
I was looking for some missing items and found out that so many things from the Publisher "IMPRESSIONS" are missing. So many Boxes, Disks etc. The craziest miss is an english Box of Ceasar. There was a german and italian Box, but no english. Very surprisingly!! After Silmarils - Impressions is my personal favorit Publisher and I have nearly all Games of them!! I just stated to add missing Items from Impressions and will go on the next days. Now there are .... Afrika Korps Air Bucks Air Bucks V1.2 ECS Air Bucks V1.2 AGA Air Force Commander Blue and Grays Breach 2 Enhanced Caesar Caesar De Luxe (here is something special because there are existing a Two Disk Version and a one Disk Version) Charge of the Light Brigade Cohort Cohort 2 and except from Impressions there also stuff from the german games Sat 1 BINGO and Dino Wars on the Server!! |

I just forget two things from Ruesselsheim.
In Hol there is Version 1.2 in he ECS and Version 1.1 in the AGA. I have both different Versions also. so it comes later. What is also missing is the Artits from Great Napoleonic Battles. In the Game there are no Infos. I believe there will be standing in he Manual, but I lost mine. Maybe someone have it also. Last edited by AMIPEGUSER; 30 July 2022 at 21:56. |

I mean that there exising 4 Versions from Russelheim.
I have a Box Ruesselheim ECS wih Disk Version 1.1 and anoher Box ECS Version 1.2. And then Box Ruesselheim AGA Version 1.1 and anoher Box wih AGA Version 1.2. In HOL is there is a ECS Disk from Version 1.2 and the AGA Version 1.1. So the others are missing. For Detroit ECS there are also Disks from Version 1.1 and 1.2 in HOL, now. |

Yes, there are separate versions and they are sold together. There are two executables for game, one named with "A1200" at the end of name.

I knew that there are two Versions. I have a original german Box here.
In these Box there both Versions. A pair of ECS Disks and a pair of AGA Disks. And they sold together in ONE Box. On the Box is a Sticker that said "both Versions in the Box". But in HOL we have two seperate Entries. One for AGA and on for ECS. That is good so far. My questions is... did they ever sold seperatly??? I knew the german boxed Versions are always sold both Version in ONE Box. But maybe in english Versions there were sold seperatly? On Ebay I just saw also Boxes within both Versions every time. At the moment there are no Box, no Disk, no Manual on HOL for the AGA Version. So that looks like that we searching for a AGA Box which never exists, maybe. For the ECS entry we use the pictures from the Version which have sold both Versions in a Box. In that case I would prefer that we do the same for the AGA Version entry. Otherwise we will never find a Box for the AGA Version. Or... the other way... The entry must be changed to ONE entry which says ECS/AGA Version and not being seperated. That will be the same way how it is on the Game Stratagem/Global Domination. In this HOL entry there are both Versions in one entry. The only difference to W2WW is that the ECS and the AGA Version are on the same Disks. But it is a real AGA Version on the Disks. I made pictures from both Version and you can see the difference in HOL, now. TCD HOL named the Screenshots in ECS and AGA. http://hol.abime.net/2731/screenshot Last edited by AMIPEGUSER; 31 July 2022 at 08:38. |

I had a look yesterday for a version of the box without that sticker (or one that says 'AGA' on it) and haven't found one. It seems like the game was only distributed that way with both versions in the box like Global Domination.

That is what I mean.
And in that case we will never find a AGA Box and seperate Disks. So we use the same Box as it is in the ECS entry or the entry had to be changed in way like GD/Stratagem. btw. I made new screenshots for Stratagem which showing the differences between ECS and AGA. Last edited by AMIPEGUSER; 31 July 2022 at 11:46. |
