Thumbs down Analog PC joystick to Amiga?

schematics (from aminet): http://chain.3dgrafika.cz/temp/analog2.gif
one pic for Zetr0, err i mean my testboard: http://chain.3dgrafika.cz/temp/analog_interface.jpg
calibration utility says its ok, and i can calibrate it: http://chain.3dgrafika.cz/temp/analog_calibrated.jpg

but it does strange things - in KOTS i can shoot wit joystick up AND fire together, launch a bomb with with joystick down AND fire, but i cannot control that damn plane :/

Did anyone build that?

later on would like to check these stuff. I was interested in this since I ever saw the analogue option in F15II... Had low priority in the past to solve really :P I was lazy

Out of curiosity I once added one of these to my order. It's probably something they solder together when commissioned. Not the same as yours though, it seems to just connect pins together. Never did much with it, only tested once with Gunship 2000.

Seemed to work once I figured out how to tell the game to use an analog joystick. Unfortunately, if there was options there to customize the controls I didn't find them and the default actions were somewhat surprising. Used a Sidewinder 3D Pro.

Just tried again because I didn't remember what was so surprising - nothing as drastic as yours. The chopper responds to directions, but the trigger-finger button changes target and the thumb button fires the weapon, when I would rather it was the other way around.
