Days of thunder keep crashing in WHDload
Well it gets to the point in the demo of the cars going round the track and when the camera goes to move to follow the cars it crashes,it does the same thing with the floppy disk with relokick 1.41..?

The game's doing you a favour
Anyway, probably not much help but it works in WinUAE A1200 setup using WHD 18.1. I used the pre~installed version v1.0_0285. |

WHDLoad 16.8 is pretty old. Update to 18.1 and check again.

I know it not a brilliant game but it was the first game I got for the Amiga(With Screen Gems Pack) thats the only reason I am trying to get it to work, was this game the first 3d driving game or did 4D Sports Driving come out first(that was a good game)..? EDIT: 4D Sports come out in 92 so 2 years after, wow made by Mindscape too.. Last edited by spannernick; 30 June 2015 at 09:26. |

An exception instruction happened.
Is your game an original disk or a cracked copy ? this game has quite some luck to use a Rob Northen Copylock... the other point is that the install is very old. |

No demo version. The intro demo mode you've mentioned in your first post. No crash here, also not ingame. Didn't played it very long though. And yes, please try the preinstalled version from Arnies link.

OK must be my A1200 mobo, another game that don't load is Back To The Future 2,What can be wrong with it..?,If I want to play it have to use my old A600 from 1995..
The motherboard is a D1 I think. Could it be the kickstart I have 3.1 roms. Yes I downloaded the game from that site and copied it over the one I had on the HD via Amiga Explorer.Still the same crashes when the cars get to a orange square thing on the track. Why is there no install for BTTF2 WHDLoad is it that crap..lol..? Last edited by spannernick; 01 July 2015 at 15:00. |

Back to the Future II is buggy and works only with very old WHDLoad Versions, iirc v10-13. Stingray gave me a test slave a few month ago. Maybe he needs a reminder to complete the new install package.

Coincidentally, that's the exact spot the ipf fails on on the A1200.
