PIStorm 32 Lite. Cannot partition the sdcard

Hi there,

well I have a PiStorm which works when I boot from the internal SDCard from my A1200 not from the PI4. The Partitions are as follows

1st Partition - 200 MB - PIStorm32 Lite data (normal Windows partition)

2nd Partition - 1000 MB - System partition (created on the same SDCard via diskpart with id=76 flag)

3rd Partition - 112 GB - Data Partition (created on the same SDCard via diskpart with id=76 flag)

on the IDE Port is the main bootup SDCard which I want to clone over to PiStorm

I have put the "brcm-sdhc.device in the HDToolBox but the two partitions dont show up there. Also in the Pre Boot menu there is no brcm-sdhc.device shown.

Dows someone know how I can get it to work?

Can you show a screenshot of what you see in hdtoolbox when you start it with brcm-sdhc.device specified? Are you writing it all in lower case, as device names are case sensitive?

I personally would create only one MBR partition with id=76 and then create the RDB and system/data partitions inside that with hdtoolbox.

I had the same problem, and in the end I 've just reinstalled WB from disks, without any SD/CF card present. From some reason cloning any partition, either from winuae or a SD/CF card, didn't worked!!

After I re-installed WB, now everything works as intended!!

Yes.


Only the Pi3 uses brcm-sdhc.device

Your Pi4 & the CM4 Module use brcm-emmc.device

Change the SCSI type accordingly & you should now be able to partition the drive.

The error on my side was that on the PI4 its "brcm-emmc.device" not the "brmc-sdhc.device"
