New (rewritten) Classic 68k game from the BOH author.
MEMO is a card memory game, so the aim is to find all the pairs of cards that
have been laid face down randomly on the game board. By means of a frame-shaped pointer that moves in 8 directions (up, down, left, right and the diagonals), the player selects the cards. When a card is uncovered, the player must locate its twin: in case of failure, the card is hidden again; otherwise the pair is removed from the board. When all the pairs are found, the player goes to the next round. http://saimobvq.interfree.it/MEMO/ Last edited by DDNI; 15 March 2011 at 18:57. |

@DDNI
Thanks a lot for posting the news here. I should have done it myself, indeed May I ask a little favour? Could you replace the URL, please? The "correct" one is: http://saimobvq.interfree.it/MEMO/ - the reason is that the files are only temporarily hosted on BOH's web space (because the Interfree ISP forces horrible banners to appear on the websites it hosts), but that could/will change in future. @ TheCyberDruid & Leffmann Thanks for the appreciation, have fun! |

Hi saimo - I love it when classic games are remade for classic systems. It really makes me feel the Amiga scene is alive and kicking. The game looks great (I'll definitely be downloading it when I get home) and I love the dot-matrix scoreboard. Very nice

@all
I've been reported that occasionally the program might render garbage in the HUD and then stop working. I've discovered that the problem occurs when the tilt mode kicks in and that the cause is a missing '#', which leads to a wrong address (it's amazing that things worked the same anyway, here). Tomorrow a fixed version will appear on Aminet. Sorry for the inconvenience. |

I will upload it to 'Game/Archive', but try http://aminet.net/package/game/think/MEMO as well.

Interesting. I get http://aminet.net/game/think/MEMO.lha when I click on the LHA link. Strange redirect stuff going on with Aminet.

Hi guys,
I wasn't aware of the Aminet problem. Or, better, I knew that Aminet has been having this problem for a while now (regardless of the archive), but usually one could download an archive with just a couple of attempts. Now I've tried some 20 times and the download worked only twice. I'll ask the admins, but I'm sure they already know. In the meanwhile, I can send the game via email to anybody - just ask And if somebody wants to redistribute the archive in any other way, I have no problem with that (provided that it is done at no cost and that the archive is not modified). |
