Where can I get the Progress.gadget from?
PFSdoctor asks for a progress.gadget
I checked with Reaction and ClassAct but couldn t find anything...  Does anybody knows ? |

Check the PFS3 CD. If PFSDoctor needs it, then it is probably installed together with PFSDoctor. I never had problems running PFSDoctor. I just used the installation script on the CD.

I just installed PF3 on my A4000 rebuild project system and PFS Doctor is asking for the progress.gadget too. It's not included on my PFS CD or floppy disk.
I'm running OS3.1 for now. I do have OS3.5 & OS3.9 install CDs but they don't have a progress.gadget included either. Where can I find this file? Thanks. |

Well, it looks like I ran into this problem back around 2000 when I first got PFS3. It turns out that some batches of the CDs/Floppies were shipped with files missing.
I found reference to a website that has/had the update files BUT it's long since dead. www.ramjam.u-net.com Fortunately, www.archive.org had old versions of the website captured and I was able to DL the file from the wayback machine. It's like having your own TARDIS. I'll post the file I found in The ZONE. |

If you're using ClassicWB, its in MyFiles\Install\LargeHD\128GB_Support\PFS3\classes\gadgets
