RawRead Feature

Hi,
I'm using RawRead (very nice tool) and I was windering how the -w option works. Is it to write back the images or it's something else?
For the author: could be possible to add an option to choose which Side (0,1) to dump? I've a lot of old single-sided (non amiga) floppy and maybe RawRead could help me.
Thanks

P.S. Are there any tools to dump standard pc floppy (on a real amiga) and then write back them to disk?

Arh thats why your after PowerCopy You could try my rather dodgy PowerCopy SaveStates available of the EAB file server but only for A600 or A1200.

Every imaging tool which is not strictly bound to trackdisk.device is able to dump and write back PC disks. TSGUI for example. You have to mount PC0 first, though.

Actually I don't believe the "-w" option is actually implemented in rawread. You can use other tools, like TSGui, to write images back to disk, but note that Extended (or raw) ADFs created with rawread's "-r" option cannot be written back to disk.

Thanks, I've found them! Unfortunately PowerCopy works only in winuae and I cannot use it in the real amiga (it would be great).
I will try AR Saves as soon as possible.

Mmm, DeviceDriver? I've selected a folder in my CF card where I dump the floppy... is it ok?
By the way I dont need it for amiga floppy because I use mainly the whdloads when I'd like to play, but is very useful to make images of DOS and Archimedes copyprotected games, and I have a lot of them. Before I was using X-Copy with nibble but now I can also create a sort of archive on harddrive (I dont trust too much the floppy disk). For IPF I'm waiting for my new HxC :-)

Thank you for the help

You're right, your solution is "limited" to A600/1200... but it's very useful!

Some months ago I asked Galahad & StingRay to make a working crack of it. A partially cracked version was made, but I hope they will find some time to do it 100%
It's a hard one to crack...

Denis told me that his friend CFOU! could be able to crack it... I'm crossing my fingers
