what's up with Anarchy?
Dunno if you agree but they were the best demo group in England...any idea what the guys are up to?
I know Dan and Nuke went to work for Core Design in Derby and that 4-mat just left the scene altogether to focus on real music (as a guitarist!) Krest was doing graphics for Handmade software and Critical Mass was also working in the video game industry...I'd like to get in touch with my fellow Anarchists, its 10 years ago the group bit the dust...please post here if you know any of them! |

Hmm, I wish I knew where these folks are, hopefully somebody else on the board does
Perhaps EAB could become THE SPOT for all demo groups, past and present, to converge and post their recollection of their demo's and how things were coded one way or another. I think it would be an interesting read |

Seems the majority of Anarchy were in the games industry.
Dan, Nuke, Icronite and Hannibal were certainly part of Core. Facet worked for them I think, but not to sure. I heard that it Dan and Del (ex-SAE) and some one else, may have been Nuke, came up with Lara Croft/Tombraider idea. There was a rumour that 4-Mat died, never been confirmed I don't think. I think Hannibal is in the games industry, he worked on Messiah I believe and lives in the States from what I read last. These people are really not to difficult to find on the net. I found Delta/RSI and Slayer/Scoopex in no time for an interview. It wasn't hard to be the best in the UK around that, was some shit groups around. Do not remember much innovation in the demos, but that is just from memory. DI was just a chore to watch at 27 minutes, Seeing is Believing was brilliant, but was more well designed that new ideas. Have to look at releases by other groups around the release dates. Last edited by khephren; 13 June 2003 at 14:01. |

I spoke to dan on irc last year or so. He sometimes pops into #amigascne on IRCNet. I had his email address around here somewhere hmm. Perhaps amp can help you with that.
Nuke had a homepage a year or 2 ago but I cant find the URL. I downloaded some mods from it though. He was last seem using the handle "Spaceman" although that might have changed now |

Kreator = Martin Troughton, coder of Brian the Lion on Amiga and Destruction Derby etc for Reflections on Playstation.
Dan = Dan Scott, coder for Core, programmer of Wonderdog, Chuck Rock 2 etc. Nuke = Martin Iveson, musician for Core Del = Derek Leigh Gilchrist, was a coder for Codemasters Most of them worked for Core at some point or another because of Dan Raistlin of Anarchy was Kreators brother. |

Just looking on the net, Nuke and Del are listed among the developers. Can't see any names from Melon on there, neither can I see any sceners listed as the originators of the whole Tombraider stuff.
Have to take net stories with a large pinch of salt at the best of times. |
