Soundmon to Protracker.

Is it possible to convert Soundmon over to Protracker?

I did try and find out, looked on google as well.

Is there a specific reason to do this?

A custom converter would be needed which would eg. be able to convert the SoundMon synthetic samples to ordinary samples for ProTracker.

If I remember correctly SoundMon is able to import PT modules, don't remember if it had an export functionality as well, probably not...

There may be other limitations too, like a possible lower octave range on Soundmon (?), non-similar commands/effects, and so on...

In addition, this module is complex, the conversion will take a long time,
and I am not sure of the accuracy of the result.
The problem with custom modules are the very different effects of protracker when the sample length is short and not digitized like real instrument.
I wanted to convert David Wittaker's Xenon, but I had a problem with the effects!!! Because I'm not a musician

Sorry for my bad English wich is as complex like custom modules for me ;

Regards

arrrrrrrrrghhhh, I really can't read

GTR: I don't need a conversion, I was just posting that I thought that the module was a great tune until koobo pointed out it was a different editor completely
