What are some good flat shaded polygon games?
I've always loved low poly flat shaded gfx, Starfox, Virtua Racing , Hellcats over the pacific, etc , still look great to me.
On Amiga i know of a few like Tornado, HardDrivin , Leading Lap MVP Can you guys recommend some good Amiga games? Thanks |

Guardian and Zeewolf/2 spring immediately to mind, best with an accelerator though.

No Second Prize is considered the most *wow* game on an A500 I think. Amazingly fast 3D engine they got going there.

F.O.F.T should have the most fast math routine in the Amiga universe.
Then my prefered poligonal game is: Combat Air Patrol, but very slow with Amiga 500 standard. |

+1 for Stunt Car Racer and Carrier Command.
Geoff Crammonds Sentinel is a cool game once you get the hang of it. |

I enjoyed a lot two sims from Microprose: Gunship 2000 and Subwar 2050. Especially the 2nd one is very atmospheric.

Xiphos (http://hol.abime.net/1608) is also a nice entry. A bit of niche game, but well done and runs well for an A500.
Apart from those, I'd like to add my '+1' to Subwar 2050 (very nice and atmospheric game indeed) and Elite / Frontier. |

Haven't played it since back then. But I quite liked it. Not the most sophisticated simulator (far from that) but I liked the "virtual cockpit" and the overall speed (at least on an A4000).
Maybe I was biased because I was friends with the programmer.... |

Microprose Grand Prix... possibly one of the greatest filled vector games of all time.
