Kipper2k CD32 Riser - RGB (DB23) and PC Keyboard (PS/2) Ideal for TF328
I have built a number of the Kipper V6.0 Riser boards ideal for use with you TF328!
They come fully populated with a PIC chip for the Keyboard interface and brand new DB23 connectors. The edge connectors and MiniDIN are TE Connectivity AMP brand. At the moment I have enough to build 8 with RGB (DB23) Prices for one including delivery and insured are as follows: UK £30 (Was £32) Europe £36 (Was £37) Canada / USA £37 (Was £38 ) Non tracked, sent at your risk! Europe £32 USA £33 For other locations and for example if you you to buy 3 or 5 etc I will calculate a cost. I will only except Paypal Gift as this is not a commercial product. Also it's your responsibility to ensure your TF328 or another product is insulted from the shielding inside your CD32! There may be a delay in you getting these boards if demand is faster than I can produce them. Last edited by kgc210; 13 January 2018 at 01:50. Reason: Price Reduction, Quantity update. |

Is it possible to order them with options, say like green pcb color to match the CD32 pcb and without PS/2-interface?

Not at the moment sorry.
I ordered red PCB's to match the TF328. If I sell out I will consider preordering without components, but as it stands I have bought all of the components for this batch. |

Are these 100% compatible with TF328 when the PIC is programmed and fitted? I did read somewhere that there was some issues with the PIC firmware preventing boot on some risers?
It has the CF cut-out any photos of it all fitting together with the CF card mounted? |

As far as I know the 18 pin PIC on the Kipper2k design works great, it's the smaller pic used on some risers that cause the issue. I'll try and get some pics when I put it all together this weekend

Thanks indigolemon.
This is how it sits with my TF328 ignore the tape on the TF328. I am selling the v6 board, like indigolemon mentions it uses the 18pin PIC which works as should be. It was the pre v6 ones that didn't work. |

Is that lower part top left wide enough to easily route a IDE cable out of the CD32?

Yeah but will it work? The IDE is not buffered.

You could also use an IDE - SD adaptor and one of them flexible extensions, then you wouldn't need to bring power out of the CD32.
